Gems have a huge variety of uses in the world of Legends of Tarrem.

When magic collects in a single place, it takes a physical form in the shape of a gem. Most gems exist as raw magic, however some are associated with a specific element and can be used in unique ways. These gems are the following:

• Ruby - Fire

• Sapphire - Water

• Quartz - Air

• Emerald - Poison

• Turquoise - Ice

• Topaz - Electricity

• Diamond - Acid

• Amethyst - Magic

• Citrine - Earth

• Moonstone - Healing

• Opal - Disease

• Morganite - Sonic

Unless specified, the element associated with a gem has minimal influence and does not affect recipes or enchantments that use them.
