Proficiencies

Characters start with 3 proficiencies.

A character only gains 1/2 of their roll bonuses when using a skill they are not proficient in.

A character that is proficient in a skill is able to use their full roll bonus (up to +25) and has access to advanced perks that further improve the skill.

More proficiencies are gained through perks, classes, and training.

Master NPCs can train 1 player character each week in exchange for 7 days of training and 5 Platinum pieces.
